Overview

Ferretti motor yachts are defined by a flybridge layout with a second helm and seating area on the upper deck. That arrangement improves visibility while manoeuvring and multiplies the time spent outdoors.

In a motor yacht, hull form directly sets the speed regime. A semi-displacement hull allows economical passage at low speed and a transition to planing at high speed; no single form is best at both ends.

Interior design is the real subject in this class. Without a sailing yacht's constraints — mast, keel, angle of heel — the architecture is freed, and the boat becomes a floating residence more than a vehicle.

Note: this entry is at marque level. Licensed photographs of a specific Ferretti model are scarce on Commons, so images may show different models from the same builder.
