Overview

The Skyliner is a double-deck coach built for long-distance passenger transport. Two decks raise capacity without extending the vehicle; on intercity routes length is capped by law, and height offers a way out.

A tall body lifts the centre of gravity. Rollover resistance therefore sits at the centre of the design: lower-deck layout, fuel and luggage volumes are all set by balance calculations.

In a coach, comfort is a technical requirement: passengers sit for hours. Seat pitch, suspension tuning and noise level directly affect whether the route can be sold.
